The AT&T Globe Symbol, the corporate logo designed by Saul Bass in 1983, has been nicknamed the Death Star in reference to Star Wars. This name was also given to the iconic Bell Labs facility in Holmdel, New Jersey, now owned by Alcatel-Lucent.
